It is a loan and it is expected to be repaid. Government grants, however, are a different matter. The majority of them are taken from taxes from one person and given to another.

Of course, the entire credit system is also bad to some extent, but one thing at a time I suppose.

Thanks for the comment! I also admit I'm kinda insulted by this one as I am getting a student loan for a higher education, which I don't see wrong since we have to pay it back and with extrodinary interest. Also the fact that I'm going into nursing, I will be the one to help when people just like ourselves get sick.

The best thing anyone can do for their life is education. I believe if anyone gets free money from the government then they must be putting forth great effort, as there is a minimum grade requirement to keep the funding. But think of the taxes that those getting funding paid over the years working a minimum wage job. I know I'm Canadian and we differ from American, but we also pay about 33% of our minimum wage paychecks to federal taxes. As the income goes higher we have to pay up to 50% of our wages to that federal tax. I know we have healthcare, but people like me don't even use that kind of money with the minimal times we go see a doctor for a prescription or check up.

All in all, I do like reading your blog. I knew you so well so long ago, I like to read who you are nowadays:)Tanyahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01225019241696938206noreply@blogger.com
